Immigration for Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker
How to Obtain PR through Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker program?
Canada offers a PR program for nannies and home support workers. This is a very useful and comparatively easy program to obtain PR for those with limited language knowledge and no higher education, plus, the age factor here is more likely to be a plus rather than a minus (which cannot be said about other immigration programs).
Be aware, there are quotas for this program, but they are not filled quickly.
To immigrate through this program, you need:
- To have 12 months of full-time work experience in Canada for a host family (this is a minimum of 30 hours per week)
- English language test at level 5 across all categories
- At least 1 year of post-secondary education
- A permanent job contract from your family (there are requirements for the salary, living with the host family is not necessary)
IMPORTANT: It is possible to apply for PR through this program without Canadian work experience, but spots are taken within a few hours.
