NOC 73300 — Truckers and Truck Drivers – HIGHLY IN DEMAND IN QUEBEC! or rather a DEFICIT!! Basic requirement for French is level 5 ORAL only.
These are the kings of the highway. They work on long routes (including international ones), they are required to have a Class 1/A license, sometimes TDG and Z (air brake). Immigration prospects are good: constant selections in Express Entry, especially in the Stream for Truckers in some provinces. They work on trucks 4500 kg+.

2. NOC 73301 — Bus, metro and public transport drivers
A profession in demand in Quebec, but it is not a deficit. Language requirements: oral level 5.
They work in an urban environment, transporting passengers. These are not only school buses, but also tram, LRT, and metro operators. Class 2 (or B, C, E depending on the province), accident-free driving experience, first aid are required. They often go through municipal programs or employment in large cities.
Differences: responsibility for passengers, often under state control. Less private sector, more inspections.
