Quebec confirms its three pilot programs

In 2021, the Quebec government launched three pilot programs to attract workers to critical industries. These programs are:

Food Processing Workers Program (PP TA)
Orderlies and Caregivers Program (PP PAB)
Artificial Intelligence, IT, and Visual Effects Workers Program (PP IA/TI-EV)

Applications for these programs will open on January 13, 2025, and close on December 31, 2025.

Number of Applications Accepted

PP TA (Food Processing): Up to 600 applications.
PP PAB (Caregivers): Up to 600 applications.
PP IA/TI-EV (AI, IT, Visual Effects): Up to 600 applications, evenly split between Artificial Intelligence (IA) and IT/Visual Effects (TI-EV).

Each stream reserves up to 150 spots for candidates who commit to learning French.

Program Expiry
All three pilot programs will end on December 31, 2025, and will close permanently on January 1, 2026.
