✅ To apply for a nomination under this category, you need to register your application in a special system (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program expression of interest).

✅ This system selects applicants with a job offer in the province of Ontario, graduates of Ontario educational institutions, and entrepreneurs.

✅ It has its own points system, and if you score enough points, you will receive an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination.

✅ There are 6 subcategories on this platform, two of which are for obtaining a nomination for graduates with a master's degree and a Ph.D. from Ontario.

📣 On July 9th, Ontario invited 1,556 master's graduates with a score of 54 and 110 Ph.D. graduates with a score of 50.

⚠️ The score for Ph.D. graduates increased by 8 points, and for master's graduates by 4 points. The trend remains – the score is rising.

✅ To achieve such scores, a graduate needs at least:

👉 Language proficiency of level 9 or higher (10 points)

👉 Valid work or study permit (10 points)

👉 A Ph.D. or master's degree (10 or 8 points, respectively)

👉 5 points each for having a Canadian diploma and a language test (another 10 points)

👉 Up to 12 points for your field of education. The STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) are valued the highest.

👉 Up to 10 points for the region where you studied.
