Let me share today’s great news with you guys!
My client received an invitation to apply for permanent residence under a provincial nomination program through the Express Entry system!
Today only 503 people were invited which confirms how rarely and selectively provinces issue nominations. But we had a strong package of documents, and got a positive result!
Advice for those who also received an invitation:
You only have 60 days to submit a full package of documents. Then the invitation and nomination expire.
Make sure to prepare police certificates of no criminal record from all the countries where you lived for more than 6 months since the age of 18.
If you already received a certificate when you left the country and did not come back there, you do not need to renew it.
But if you travelled there again, you need to obtain a new certificate!
In our case, the nomination was received from Ontario. We waited for almost a year. Patience and a smart strategy paid off!
