IRCC and their INCOMPETENCE!! The government and its "switching sides"!
When they refuse to renew the CUAET, they swear, "your last one hasn't expired yet!"
SERIOUSLY??? Two copy-pasted decisions came in the same day for the same "reason"!
Not only is it illegal and arbitrary, but also it’s depriving people of the right to use the program they're entitled to, they are forced to apply late, their health insurance, driver's license, and their immigration status are all jeopardized.
I don't know what kind of idiots the Ministry has recruited, but they certainly lack the ability to follow some basic instructions!
I'm very angry, and today I sent two malicious replies demanding an URGENT re-examination of the file. BUT, all this creates unnecessary stress, and extra work searching for legal precedents for such stupidity! It’s so unfair... But if you don't do it, people lose their status in Canada.
I'd really like to summarize with these conclusions: even if the application seems simple but isn't being followed correctly, YOU NEED EXPERTS! And it's very unpleasant to read some statements lately along the lines of "why pay money, we can do it ourselves, it's easy, they're raking in the cash there," and so on. Unfortunately, we live in a country where the government can easily turn its back on you, where yesterday you were promised Manna from heaven, but today you're shown the door, where yesterday everyone was shouting, "We'll help you with all your applications for free," but today, "We owe you nothing, so be content with what you have!" And that's where private lawyers come in. They PROTECT the client's interests, not the government's, which changes the sides in a heart beat.
