Starting September 1, 2024, international students will be able to work up to 24 hours per week during their studies, instead of the previous 20 hours.
📌Reminder, during holidays and breaks between sessions, students can work an unlimited number of hours.
📌Unfortunately, work experience gained while you are on a study permit does not count as Canadian work experience for any permanent residency programs. However! If your work experience is a paid internship related to your studies, such experience may count in some cases 👍
