I spent a long time working on this issue and kept twisting the information this way and that way, on how to fit the entire ARRIMA points program to be applicable for everyone.
As we know, the first selection of mid-level specialists, artisans, low-skilled and unskilled labor was done.
They selected everyone outside Montreal with points from 661.
So what is 661 points?
I divided potential candidates into 5 groups by age and described in detail what each of them would need to be invited:
- Group under 30 with a work contract
- Group under 30 without a work contract
- Group between 30 and 40 years old
- Group aged 41-43
- Group over 44 and up
What can I say...I am 42, and in order to a get permanent residence, it would be easier for me to go through the French-speaking stream of Express Entry, BUT! You need to know all the details: what profession, what contract, what language level you must have and so on. Please note that the groups are averaged and for an accurate calculation you need to check it thoroughly, BUT on average, the situation is exactly as I described.
I really wanted to help people figure it out and give them options.
