๐ 6,700 temporary workers whose work permits expire in 2024 and who work and live in the province of Manitoba will be able to extend their work permits for another 2 years!
โ This is a great example of cooperation between the federal government and the province. The reason for this decision is the absene of PNP draws since January in the province and long processing times for nominations (sometimes up to a year). It is clear that with such long processing times for nominations, it became impossible to extend work permits. ๐ Let me remind you that usually, you can extend a work permit if you already have a nomination and a file number for permanent residence, which you have already submitted to the federal government.
