A new Express Entry draw in Ontario has issued 212 invitations for permanent residency under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker program. The last time francophones were selected was in March, which was 4 months ago.

‼️This is the second invitation for francophones in 2024, and the score threshold has decreased compared to the January draw, reaching 305 points (!!!), which is a very low score.

✅Learning French is an effective way to obtain permanent residency in Canada. French also increases your chances of being selected in targeted Express Entry draws.

🔔The minimum requirements to participate in Ontario's French-Speaking Skilled Worker program include:

👉A valid Express Entry profile through the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Canadian Experience Class.

👉A bachelor's degree or higher.

👉A Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 or higher in all categories of the TCF/TEF Canada French test.

👉A CLB level of 6 in all categories of the IELTS/CELPIP English test.

👉Sufficient settlement funds, demonstrated through bank statements, income from employment, or a job offer from a provincial employer.

‼️Candidates must also demonstrate their intention to reside in Ontario by providing evidence of employment, education, volunteer work, rental or ownership of property, as well as personal and professional connections in the province.
