๐Ÿ“ข New Ontario Express Entry Draw with CRS Scores of 290-393

๐Ÿ“… On September 5, 2024, the province of Ontario conducted another Express Entry draw, inviting candidates under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker program. Candidates with CRS scores ranging from 290 to 393 were invited.

๐Ÿ“‰ The low score threshold highlights the importance of French language proficiency for receiving a provincial nomination and earning an additional 600 CRS points, which almost guarantees an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in the next federal draw.

๐Ÿ’ก Key Point: Decreasing CRS Scores for French-Speaking Workers
In 2024, 1,282 nominations have already been issued under this program. The maximum score dropped by 16 points compared to the June draw and by 75 points since January. This demonstrates that French language skills are becoming increasingly crucial for obtaining a nomination.

๐Ÿ“Œ Eligibility Criteria: โ€ข Candidates must have an Express Entry profile under the federal FSWP or CEC programs,
โ€ข Canadian equivalent higher education,
โ€ข Minimum CLB 7 in French and CLB 6 in English,
โ€ข Candidates must also confirm their intent to reside in Ontario.
